-Tarran is Welsh for "Thunder", and he does leave quite an impression!
-14.3hh and approximately 1200lbs
- Registered with the "Gypsy Cob Society of America", with the "Import" stamp from
the UK on his papers. DNA on file
- Has the "Gypsy Cob Society of America Certificate of Veterinary Inspection of
Stallion" paperwork on file (Tarran was inspected by a licensed veterinarian, and
found to be sound with no apparent genetic defects, has a level bite and 2 testicles
normally descended in the scrotum)
- Homozygous for the paint coloration gene
- Short backed, heavy boned, with thick mane and tail and abundant leg feathering.

-Well bred with the famous "Rocking Horse" as a sire, and the good mare
"Mercedes Mare" as his dam (both from the UK)
-Proven breeder serviced all of our mares in 2006 and gave us ALL black and white
(or Bay - from dam's genes) paint fillies! Possibly homozygous for the BLACK gene
too, since all the mares he bred were chestnuts.
-Green broke to ride, and been extensively trail ridden - crosses water, traffic, leads
and follows.
-Was used this past summer to pull logs out from the forest several miles to the ranch.
-Stands for farrier and baths. Ties. Loads/hauls well
- Has had his wolf teeth pulled (February 2007)
- Has an AVID microchip (certificate with number will be transferred to new owner)
- As just a young colt, he was ponied off of carts and gypsy wagons at several demos
and exhibitions.
-He is a gentle breeder and serviced all of our mares for 2008 foals
